Do I need to edit my theme code to install the widget?

No. The widget installs via Shopify Theme App Extensions which is a Shopify-supported, no-code injection method for Online Store 2.0 themes. Activate the app block in your theme editor and you're done.

How customizable is the widget?

Position, copy, colors, button label, form fields, success message — all configurable from the Slingshot dashboard without code. Advanced custom CSS is available on Pro.

Does the widget support variants?

Yes. Shoppers can sign up for a specific variant — size, color, or any other variant attribute. Alerts go out only to shoppers who signed up for the exact variant that restocked.

Does the widget work with my theme?

It works with any Online Store 2.0 theme, which is the Shopify default since 2021. That includes Dawn, Sense, Craft, Studio, Refresh, and the vast majority of third-party themes. If your theme is older, the widget can still be installed via a single-line code edit.
